Julie Le and Thuy Truong, co-founders and principal designers of Elan Designs, always had a creative energy about them. Julie’s love for arts and crafts gave her the eye and heart for scrapbooking, while Thuy released her passion for creativity through painting. When Julie and her now husband got engaged in late 2008, there was no questions in her mind that she was going to design and hand-make her own wedding invitations and programs. As a result of receiving tremendous amounts of compliments on her work and constant suggestions on how she should start her own invitation business, Julie and Thuy decided to do just that. After a year of “unofficially” designing together and preparing the take-off of their new business, Julie and Thuy co-founded Elan Designs
